Tiny, malnourished, and cramped into a washing basket – Help is urgently needed to give these two cubs sanctuary.
Our team has intercepted an illegal sale of two moon bear cubs on Facebook. Stolen from their mother in the wild, who was likely killed in the process, they are estimated to be only 2-3 months old.
Working alongside local authorities we have located and rescued the cubs to bring them to the safety of Luang Prabang Wildlife sanctuary, but from the moment they arrive, they require urgent veterinary care, round-the-clock feeding, and support in our sanctuary. We are urgently seeking donations to help with the rescue and care of the pair. Their rescue comes just three weeks after the rescue of two other moon bear cubs, Jose and Fitz, from an illegal wildlife market – placing even greater pressure on our cub care team and nursery.

Rescuing cubs this young is just the start
They are very fragile, and are going to need constant care. Your donation helps with:
